I will be donating 50% of the sale price of all the Covid-19 fundraiser jewellery collection to be split between these three charities. I've written a little bit below about why I chose them.

Mind, the mental health charity
As a person with bipolar disorder I know first hand some of the difficulties of keeping our mental health in a safe place. Coping with the effects of the Covid-19 crisis (being isolated, financial worries, bad health or loss of loved ones just to name a few) isn't easy for any of us, and the struggles for many are going to be significantly worse. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and this is needed now more than ever.

Refuge, protecting women and children from domestic violence
Reports of domestic violence have risen since the lockdown was announced, many women and children are now being forced to spend significantly more time in a close environment with their abusers. Funds will assist Refuge in being able to keep their phone lines and refuge centres open during this especially frightening time.

Nobody should ever go hungry, yet many are currently relying on foodbanks to be able to meet their basic needs. The Trussel Trust operates over 1,200 foodbanks across the UK, and they need extra support during this time to keep their supplies stocked for those in desperate need.
